Trump needs to reign it in. I realize that conservatives have historically set the gold standard for hypocrisy, and liberals have only relatively recently learned to use hypocrisy effectively, but Trump has taken it to a whole new level. There is no defending such frequent travel. Once a month can certainly be defended, but not nearly every weekend.Trump on pace to surpass 8 years of Obama's travel spending in 1 year - CNN

Hold on there big guy..Johnny was from Nebraska and I'm pretty sure he was a republican!OMG, don't impeach him! The late night hosts are having too much fun. My only regret is that Johnny Carson isn't here to take advantage of all the great material from President Trump

Carson opposed the Vietnam War,[40] and capital punishment, favored racial equality, and was against criminalizing extramarital sex and pornography. He avoided explicitly mentioning his views on The Tonight Show, saying he "hates to be pinned down", as that would "hurt me as an entertainer, which is what I am."[3] As he explained in 1970, "In my living room I would argue for liberalization of abortion laws, divorce laws, and there are times when I would like to express a view on the air. I would love to have taken on Billy Graham. But I'm on TV five nights a week; I have nothing to gain by it and everything to lose."[41] He also seldom invited political figures onto the Tonight Show because he "didn't want it to become a political forum" and did not want the show used, by himself or others, to influence the opinions of the viewers.[40]
In his book, Carson's former lawyer Henry Bushkin stated, he "was by instinct and upbringing definitely Republican, but of an Eisenhower sort that we don't see much of anymore.... Overall, you'd have to say he was anti-big: anti-big government, anti-big money, anti-big bullies, anti-big blowhards." Carson served as MC for Ronald Reagan's inauguration in 1981 at the request of Frank Sinatra.[42]
Trump could and should travel to most of these destinations - especially his FL residence - on his own dime. He can afford it and it would set a good example for other wealthy political parasites who travel on the taxpayers' dime like Nancy Pelosi.Trump needs to reign it in. It averages out to roughly $250,000. per day of his 4 year presidency, not including Melania's protection and her stays in New York.Trump could and should travel to most of these destinations - especially his FL residence - on his own dime. It's around the edges. CNN isn't talking about it much (tho they are now), but WaPo and NYT are all over it, nearly on a daily basis. Of course, the left-leaning websites have been screaming about his travel expenses ever since his limo ride at the Inauguration. Over the last 3 months, about twice a month an article on it will pop up at TheHill, places like that.Oddly, I haven't heard too much from the MSM on this. Maybe soon to come, but still pretty quiet so far.
Well darn. I just keep following this along and not wanting to complicate the simple, I will just ask.
With all the links and madness Phil, are you wanting Trump impeached? It does beg the question at this point. And if so, what is your desired outcome?
Bannon is more loyal to Bannon and his own political ideology than he is to Trump. Bannon and Trump have the same goals in many issues, but the difference is in how they want to accomplish those goals. Trump wants to negotiate deals to get what he wants, so that both sides get something they can live with. Bannon wants to accomplish the same goals but he wants to deconstruct government to attain them, and f*** the other side if they don't like it. That's going to be, and it's already becoming, a problem for Bannon.Looks like he might be on his way out. Like oil and water with other members of the administration.
