Operative words. Used to.
Houston has been tough fishing lately. Used to be fish in a barrel. Loads can be had but I'm not sure the rates coming out are worth doing sometimes.
We couldn't find the bottom this week in Houston. And it didn't seem to be going the right ways plenty. A wise man told me yesterday, and I quote, "Holy sh*t batman....239 units in Laredo".
When sitting in the frying pan, don't lean too far over the edge to see what's below.

speaking of competitive....last load: 765 miles I got 23.4 mpg when divided = 32.69 gallons which I averaged at $2.53 a gallon = it cost me 82.70 to run that load or a whooping .0925 or
9 1/4 cents per mile!!.......
whats up with WV anyhow? had so many opportunities going into that state... got under bid on them....darn cheap runners....LOL

Yeah, can't figure out WV. I always think...."Hey, WV, let's add a $100". Rarely works. I guess there's just way too many desperate trucks out there.

Right? When I was there in October, I sat a few days each in Houston and McAllen, came back to Houston via Brownsville, then took a weekender to Billings, Mt. Great trip; I like to get some tumbleweed therapy once in a while. Paid dearly for it tho, cos I ended up deadheading all the way back to PA

Yeah, those TX to UT and MT loads pop fairly often. TX has gotten bad enough. To go from TX to UT??? Not!!!!
Hey now.. Them are my go home loads!! You'd best not pass on them!!!
