The emotional baggage of "innocent" and "guilty" are what has no place when dealing with a woman's fundamental right to choose whether or not to continue an unwanted pregnancy.
When you need to inject emotion, the argument is weak. When you need to shove your beliefs down everyone's throats [billboards with adorable 6 month old infants, guilt inducing "I'm so glad my Mommy chose life" & "Abortion is murder!" statements, protesters outside Planned Parenthood, and a never ending effort to defund Planned Parenthood & women's health clinics everywhere, then your position is indefensible.
If you were to succeed in banning abortion, would you care about the women who die in botched illegal abortions?
Or how about the thousands of 'innocent' babies born unwanted to unprepared and unreliable mothers? How much will you care after they're born?

So is your answer then 'yes', your God would send a woman to hell for 'choosing' abortion at age 16 (or 11) when she was raped and impregnated by her trusted dad?

I've always struggled with what I see as certain Americans on EO being contradictory, struggled because I find it very confusing.
Black and white, either pro-life or pro-death.. some outspoken members choose pro-life, but yet those same members have been seen on EO to be the first to openly offer their services in getting rid of certain people, by death. So it seems it's pro-life, as long as that life is deemed worthy by the members' own standards of worthiness.
And so cells within a woman's body are deemed by certain EO members to be a 'baby', and worthy of life, but yet, once those 55,000,000 aborted babies would have been born (rough estimate of the number of legal abortions performed in the USA since 1973), and would have perhaps subsequently become welfare cases, draining said members' OWN resources, they may have then become unworthy of life after all.
Then, to further confuse me, some EO members are adamant about how government should not be in a position to control US citizens and their bodies. And yet they seem to be demanding that the government force the female population to carry every one of their fetuses for 9 months of their lives, no matter if they were impregnated by rape, incest, failed contraception, and no matter if the fetus is known to have severe disabilities which will become a drain on the country's medicare?
It strikes me odd that the beliefs are so strong and that's great to stand up for something, yet there seems to be no forward thinking on how the issue could realistically be resolved, all the way through.
Also, I wonder if the time has ever been taken to consider what would it be like if it were the male population instead of the female population, which carried the fetuses to term? What if males were abused throughout history, raped and beaten, impregnated by their mothers, often only being able to secure low-paying jobs which could not realistically provide for offspring, etc etc etc. Would the views be the same then?

Not in this lifetime [I mean that literally], but if there's an afterlife, and that's where everyone I know is....Like the concept of Heaven in the book 'The Lovely Bones': it's different for everyone. My idea of it wouldn't be the same as , say, AMonger's, right?
My idea of Hell is Chuckie Cheese. Or a bowling alley full of preteens & drunks. Or a 'driver's lounge' with hard plastic chairs & the tv showing golf 24/7.

Seriously, you make some excellent points. In their zeal to force their beliefs upon others, some fail to see the inevitable consequences of producing unwanted babies. It's all well and good to bluster "don't breed them if you can't feed them" but it ignores human nature, pretending that everyone will behave responsibly because they're sposed to.
But they won't, and then who cares for the casualties? The poverty stricken mothers & kids who need food, housing, medical care? The abused kids of immature or mentally unfit parents? The traumatized teenage mothers, who thought they were ready for parenthood? [Or would feel guilty for admitting they're not.]
The irony is that many of the folks who object to Planned Parenthood are the same ones who scream loudest about supporting the lazy with their tax dollars - you know, those lazy single mothers who can't work because there simply is no child care available for the 'innocent' baby they were forced to have when they couldn't get birth control?
Taxpayers will foot the bill, because we can't punish the children for the sins of the idiots.
Even if many current Republicans thinks otherwise.

I accepted a load Friday afternoon that doesn't deliver until Monday morning. Its not a whole lot of miles, but it came with two days layover pay. This load took me near my girlfriend's place, so I thought I would stop in for the weekend. She's 11 weeks pregnant so I figured stopping by with a sack of White Castles to show my support for her and the kid would be the right thing to do, plus I needed a shower.
After dinner and the shower we watched COPS while I cleaned my AK-47. I'm not a Commie, I have never been a Commie and I don't even like Commies. I came by the AK-47 for a price I couldn't refuse. Hey, I'm a married man with a wife, two kids, a grandchild, a girlfriend due in about six months and I drive a van. I can't afford an American made gun.
Um, where was I? Oh yeah, I was cleaning my gun and watching COPS, maybe it was American Idol. I don't remember. What I do remember is my gun accidentally discharging. Three times. Two bullets struck my girlfriend, killing her and that thing growing inside her. The other bullet passed through the wall and penetrated the trailer next door damaging the Big Mouth Billy Bass mounted on the living room wall. Thankfully everyone in that trailer was drunk and passed out on the floor. Nobody was injured.
I was charged with not only the death of my girlfriend, but also the death of her fetus. That's a double homicide. I'm not even sure if that dead thing is mine. One of her neighbors, not the one with the Big Mouth Billy Bass, but the guy on the other side with the double wide and the monster truck, told me he had seen other cargo vans parked by her trailer over the past few months.

Perhaps it is believed the the pro-lifers that these 55,000,000 aborted fetuses would have gone on to be adopted by outstanding families who wanted an adorable, happy, full-term infant. But I think there are adoption papers with perhaps some disclosure.. such as.. this baby was conceived by incest.. this one during a violent rape.. these 25,000,000 have fetal alcohol syndrome, and these 10,000,000 are crack babies.. these ones have severe disabilities requiring extensive hospitalization and painful surgeries.. these ones are known to have a disease which is expected to kill them by age 4.. this group over here has severe mental illness running in the family.. but congratulations on your new bundle of lifelong joy!
Yes, I realize for those who can be lead to the desired conclusion the erroneous conclusion is that pro choice is the opposite of pro life. Choice is not the opposite of life. Never has been and never will be. That's the same erroneous conclusion as the opposite of discrimination being affirmative action. They are liberal left definitions willingly accepted by those who desire a particular outcome or option contrary to the truth. The truth is that affirmative action never was, is not and never will be the opposite of discrimination and choice never was, is not and never will be the opposite of life. In the case of the former they are synonyms, the same thing renamed a less odious term. In the case of the latter it's just an error.

No, for her sin, one of which would be murdering a baby, but there are plenty more even if she hasn't done that. The only way to escape that is to become regenerate i.e. born again through trusting Christ, and only Christ.
