Quarantine

Dear public,

The trucking industry has recently been placed in the limelight. We have always been out here resupplying America. This is not news, you are just now noticing.

Please stop hoarding supplies, even with the intention of making “Thank You” bags to give to truckers. When you gather all the supplies to give away, you are taking products from the shelves that we are very capable of buying for ourselves. We are not having any different issues on the road than we had before, other than, like you, even we cannot find some of the products we normally buy either.

We also have really been enjoying your self quarantine. We can now drive with less traffic, less wrecks, less delays and less stress. Please continue to self quarantine. 

Stay home. This is probably a greater help to our industry than any “goodie bag” you want to go out and buy and then go out and deliver. Please just stay home. I have a dog that understands and listens to “stay” better than many of you folks.
