and i dont know about you but i can easily do almost 30 hours before i sense that i need sleep. and by sense i mean thats when i buy my first coffee. than around 35 or 36 hours my eyes get droopy and i take a nap which is usually no longer than 3 hours. and i dont only do it on the road. i do it often when im at home. whenever i go fishing or camping. or just not being able to sleep. ive always worked grave yard shifts at factories and usually they were 12 hour shifts. so i guess im pretty used to it.

Working in a factory for 12 hrs is not like driving for twelve hrs, if you drive long enough like we do than you would realize your going to get tired, backtracking on your comments won't help sell your story either, your obviously less concerned with safety and the only thing you respect is your personal gain and that my friend is exactly why this line of work does not suit you.

Either you're full of sh*t or extremely stupid when it comes to safety (your own and others)....either way I highly doubt you'll find many people on here to agree with you. Yes I've stayed awake 30 or more hours but it takes a toll on your mental functions, reaction times, etc...I would never endanger myself or others by driving.

Personally his comments are more insulting to those of us trying to do things in a safe manner! If he truly believes his own rhetoric than own it and fight for his beliefs, but by the back tracking he's obviously realized his error in judgement, he is by no means an ignorant person! A misguided person but not ignorant

Stupid when comes to safety....not stupid period. I'm stupid when it comes to car maintenance...and I accept it as fact.
It may have came off insulting but it's very true...he's either full of it and yanking our chain or acting in a very dangerous and stupid manner!

stupid is a personal observation, which can be measured many different ways by many different people.........so be very careful in the manner the word is tossed about...and don't make this thread personal.....address the issue, NOT the person....:) Thanx....

Actually, I miss a whole lot of detail on here. I "mark as read" a lot just because I don't usually have time to do so safely.
