If it's politicians campaigning and pandering in part to illegal voters then yes, they would. If it's any of the millions of legal citizens then more power to them.

Of course most Mexicans can be American citizens, just walk over here ...now about them is is dudes coming over here in toyota trucks with 50 cals in the truck bed, how do they get through customs, oh,,forgot, there is no customs......
