What Are Some Good Cities For Expediting?

Generally speaking, the cities in this list have, over the years, been among the higher-volume freight areas. This is not to say that there's always a lot of loads originating in these locations, just that there is usually a steady number of loads in and out.

Detroit, MI
Grand Rapids, MI
Rockford, IL
Milwaukee, WI
Indianapolis, IN
Fort Wayne, IN
Toledo, OH
Cleveland, OH
Cincinnati, OH
St Louis, MO

I've gotten exactly one good load out of Buffalo. But the good news is it was around 3 weeks ago and it was very good. Maybe "Big B By The Sea" is making a comeback.

And I will add a 3rd request to remove Buffalo, which is where I am now, and have never had a load out of here, as soon as my 10 hours is up I will DH back home to Ohio.

That's because you have either a strong manufacturing base or distribution base in those above mentioned cities.

I have to say in my short expediting career that I've been to several of these cities listed and in my sprinter haven't really had any problems with em. But I will say that although I've had several loads out of Columbus Ohio I hate driving there. Just doesn't suite me for some reason. The run in on now is out of Columbus and it's a decent load I just hated picking it up

Southern half of Mississippi has never been good for me. Dropped about 8-10 times down there and only one shorty out.

Jackson
Canton
Meridian

I agree no one likes to go to Pittsburgh, not in any size truck, many one ways, many narrow streets and no truck stops close by. If that is home you don't have much choice though.
