A question in regards to "Workmans Comp Insurance" which many drivers are having to pay for. First off it is my OPINION and only an opinion that this insurance "covers your employees, not you personally". Am I wrong? If so why would an owner/driver have to purchase this insurance?
Next question. It is my understanding that should one receive any workmans comp let's assume that it is one of your employee drivers that compensation is based on weekly salary. Everyone knows how weekly gains in expediting fluctuates so which week would the injured be paid for, the high one, the low one or an average. Not trying be a wise guy just want to get the right scoop. I have heard several war stories on what insurance compaines have done or not done for drivers.
