Does anyone know how much fleet owners pay there drivers at Landstar? Spoke to a couple owners who said 20% to the driver for a straight truck. This seems very low but maybe it has to do with the rates being higher? I thought 40/60 or 60/40 was the most common split. Thanks for any input, and have a great evening.

Yeah. The 40 is what goes to the truck. If it's just one driver, they'll get all 40.
We pay 60% to the team for everything but fuel surcharge. All of that (100%) goes to the team. Team buys fuel.
