Will I make money right away buying a van or need to wait for all documentations?

I currently do gig apps with my mid size sedan and so far it helps pay the rent and bills. If I buy a van , the gas cost will be much higher so using this for gig apps will be an overkill

I have the questions below:
1) Buy used or new?
2) What time of van? I know it should be high roof , but which brand and which model? I live in the US
3) Where to get the load the fastest that make me work in the shortest amount of time? Are gig apps the way to go initially?

Thank you for the help

First things first, go learn the business. Do this by driving for an owner. Learn on his equipment. Do this for at least a year.

Not sure I want to work for $15/hr and have a boss hollering at me, demanding when I work and not work. Perhaps for a 3 months but not for a year.
