Why does such a pretty truck sit so long?

We pass through Las Vegas a couple of times a month and cant avoid noticing a Fedex Custom critical truck sitting there at the T/A almost everytime...The truck is nothing less than a show truck. It is a D unit with 3 axles and appears to have been lowerded or sits very low to the ground. It has everything polished or chromed right down to the frame nuts and bolts. My wife counted at least 100 marker lights very tastefully placed on each side of this truck. This truck is in the top 5 of all Fedex trucks we have ever seen based on cleanliness and overall driver pride of ownership, "but" why is always sitting there? It has a DS number which as we were leased to Fedex for years and cant figure this out? Anyways such a pretty truck that doesnt seem to move much....Sad I would be proud to drive that one!

A DS truck is a dedicated truck. He stays in that area of the country. There are a few major cities/areas that have them.

It could be a truck of entertainment like a floor show , or where folks practice gymnastics or something.

Next time thru, stop and ask someone. Maybe it's for sale, you can get your dream truck! :)
