can anyone recommend stations or stops that have a good quality diesel, in michigan, ontario, ohio areas??
Good luck on this one. With the coming of ULSD it makes it even harder to choose.
Flying J list which of their loc have the new or the old.To further complicate,some places have a mixture of both.

My trk (M2 MBE900-260)has increased heating,and loss of HP when running straight USDL. Soon the old LSD won`t be available anywhere.
I am adding Power Service Diesel Kleene when ever filling up with ULSD. It seems to help.

I use Power Service when they are out of the Howes Diesel Treat, otherwise I'm a Howes guy. Power Service costs more per gallon of fuel, and it doesn't quiet the engine nor get me the increased fuel mileage that Diesel Treat does. I use Meaner Power Cleaner in every tank, as well.

I dont care for the price,even though we get a good discount,but I get the best fuel mileage at the petro

I prefer petro over flying j anyday. I quit using the hook after a waitress and manager at one of their fine locations told me they didn't need truck drivers that flying j as a whole would do better without professional drivers. they said the rvers and the cars where all the business they need. so i quit spending money there.
