Soooo,

Who was it that was in the Panther D-unit today watching my wife (and I) tarp the CFM-56 jet engine we had just loaded? You know who you are cause you were parked directly behind us in front of Cargo Bldg #706 at MIA in Miami. We saw ya lookin! LOL.

Next time stop by and visit, we don't bite. I just chew once in a while.

Moose,

Since you were kind enough to remove your "not called for" post, rather than responding publically I will privately respond to you.

Streakin, we were at the Atlanta airport the other day and saw a truck set up like yours. Drop deck, huge sleeper, hauling something under a BIG tarp. Knew it wasn't you though. We'll definately say "Howdy" if we ever see ya!

Really Col, tale of how tuff it is out there? Its greater here than it ever was the five years I was with FECC!

The delimas you state are in fact things we've experianced that we felt by sharing with the EO community just might prepare someone else in dealing with it rather than being blind-sided at the gate! Along with the positives in trucking come occassional negatives. Excuse me for sharing both. this forum is like the CB or TV. If you don't like reading a certain person's input, move on and don't read it at all. If you don't like whats on the TV channel, change it! If you don't like the chatter on the CB, shut it off. do you get it?

I've got you figured out Col. You are jelous because I can afford to run nicer equipment than you and I choose to take better care of mine than you! LOL

I can understand how your first paragraph is totally correct.

The "community" needs solutions not delimas. The whole "community" has delimas. But, more likely than not, they are REAL delimas.

Reading the third paragraph, it seems you really DON'T understand. Much!!

Maybe by sharing the "delimas" with the community, ideas can be collectively interjected to help find a solution. But first the problem (delima) has to be shared.

So Col, what I "don't understand" is why you feel that you have to make issue over my $1000 custom leather seats or my ten $600 polished aluminum boxes on my trailer. The value was only disclosed to help one fully understand why I had such an issue with the situation(s) at hand, or what you choose to call a delima. The point is whether its the lawnchair you drive in or my custom seats they have no right to distroy it and yes you can say NO to them if you have the Bs. Both are of value to the driver that wishes it not be distroyed. Mine are just more expensive to replace so yes, we are just a bit protective.

I can't wait for the day you show up at the gate behind me and the guard makes the ridiculous "unimportant" demand for us to unstrap our load and break our equipment. I will take great pleasure in dragging my feet and taking my sweet time. Oh, and how much time can I tie up the gate by refusing to break my truck to satisfy the guard. Again, unimportant. Hope you're not in a hurry! LOL

Bet it gets real important then for ya Col!!!

Please Col, why don't you share some REAL delimas with me so that I might better understand your definition of the word.

I guess x06col and I need to settle our differences with a good old biker style scuffle in the parking lot. I'll bring the chains! :D So, game on Colonel?

Is x06col really a ex Colonel or is that just a name? :p

I think I blew your doors off a while back. Somebody forgot to shut the jet engine off before they loaded it on my deck. It was the fastest run I've ever done to the west coast. We even beat the jet it was going on to the airport!!!

Moose, check your mailbox for a laugh!

Hi FastDarnell and welcome! And yeah, what layout said.. don't drive junk! Too dangerous and you will probably be spending a lot of time at the scales being inspected. There are lots of owners out there with good, decent trucks. :)

How many times have you seen written ?

- Apartment on Wheels

- RV Expediter

- Paid Tourist

Problem is, you got what they want. There's two of you
Guys driving the "rewards of success" vehicles.
The result of your success and the means to afford
such vehicles, frustrates those that realize, they'll never
get behind the wheel of such machines. Rather than just
accepting that fact, the constant berating is just a
sign of uncontrollable jealousy.
