I would have to give the nod to myself for my favorite moderator.

Reasons:
I am fair and up front with myself when making decisions.

I am able to step aside from myself and belief at a given time to be open minded.

I don't act on knee jerk reactions.

I have yet to move or lock a thread on myself.

It isn't breaking my code of conduct to question and discuss my decisions.

I am a mod on a different forum

It's a tough and thankless job. It's a fine line enforcing the rules of the forum yet doing it in a way that's not heavy handed.

Being this site charges carriers for advertising i can see the challenges of moderation more so then on other boards.

I found moderating via PM and not in the open forum is a much better way to do things. Your not offending anyone publicly and usually the person or post that needs to be addressed appreciates and complies with the rules of the forum in a much more positive way.

Moderators are like government. The best ones are the ones that stay out of the way, do as little as possible, and that you forget they exist most of the time. I've been all too aware of them the last several months.

Kinda sounds like Dave KC and Team Caffee...I even forgot they were both Mods....BUT, I did hear through thr "wireless vine"..."MC Hammer" bought a ST and is planning to join EO and wants to be a Mod..."HammerTime"....
