Just wondering who you drive for and if there is a reason that makes you stay with them.

I haul for several carriers and brokers located in various areas of the country. I am now based in North Georgia, but I still have four straight truck drivers in my trucks in California.

I have my own authority and $1.5 million in cargo insurance. I don't think I would be happy eating from only one plate.

It is easy to see who I drive for, the logo is at the bottom of each post I make...why...because I drive less and make more then i did with my previous carrier and the Owner of the company has a great utmost of integrity in how he does business with his contractors....

I haul for Mercer Transportation. It's been really hard to stay here because of the loads. There ain't any! But I will say that as a company they are pretty good. They will help you in any way they can although I don't know how much I can take. It's getting worse by the month as far as the loads go. I'm gonna try and stick around a little longer and see where this goes

We are a Fleet Owner/Operator looking to grow with a company.

The security of knowing the owner "John" will go above and beyond to make sure that our trucks are moving, but again understand why we need to be down "Maintenance and the Drivers".

Thank you John!

It's good to be a part of a company that knows you and has your concerns in mind.

We all hear the pros and con (especially cons) of having more than one carrier, but really, it's a good way to reap more benefits in many cases; and in such a fickle business, one may have 4 carriers at once, but in six months, they may not be the same 4. That's another good thing about having multiples: finding those that work for YOU.

Which carriers does my boyfriend run for? Let me check and see who they are this week, LOL!

Especially in California, it would be OK to hire gay drivers too.

LOL!

Three are members of my church and one is an old friend from high school who happens to be an ex-con who has turned his life around through his relationship with Jesus. (Christ, not Gonzales)

Pretty sure they are all straight. I'm kind of like the Chick Fil-a of the trucking world in that regard.

fired at you from my Droideka

I have been running for 1 manufacturer from plant to plant. Same run every night with my C/V and 3 nights a week hauling one pallet to Atlanta airport with a part time driver on my p/up. I run 6 nights a week 540 miles a night, same run, same road, same people. Any way the manufacturer is going overseas this month so I'm going to hit the open road again and broker to several carriers. I am upgrading to a new truck to compete with Sprinters. I just like running on my own, when I get ready I go home, I go. I'm to old to sweat the small stuff.
Have talked to several people but I must say John Clark is a straight shooter who will help anyone succeed. After my 40+ years on the road, that's saying a lot.:D:D
