Where to park in Chicago over holidays?

We are looking for a place to park our 40ft straight truck for 10 to 14 days over the holidays, preferably in the NW suburbs. We have contacted numerous storage places, businesses and personal contacts and were denied. We also contacted Panther's Chicago office and they could not help us. Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

what about at the long term parking area at O'hare? I don't have any personal experience with it but I have heard of people parking their bigger trucks at other airports.

In a former life, when I commuted to St Louis, I had an arrangement with a nearby church that allowed me to park there for a monthly 'donation' I paid about half that charged by the commercial garage. Perhaps a similar arrangement could be made with a Chicago church, particularly one with a half empty lot on a Sunday morning.

I might ask the management company of one of the newer strip malls that are cropping up all over the country. They might allow parking for a small fee if they have vacant units for lease indicating that their lot is never full.
