Just curious where different folks are stuck for the weekend?List your Layover spot , company your with,What will you be doing in down time?Lets see how many different states and locations we come up with.I think this would be interesting to others as well.

Layover, whats that? Weekend layovers have become a thing of the past since leaving the Fed. We've been fortunate in that our new carrier keeps us moving as much as we want. Got to take the $$$ while its on the table.

In Indy, the truck is in Stioops, the AMU has to be replaced and the A/C compressor is out, leaking at the main seal. Whoopy!!! What a great end to a so so week. layoutshooter

I know its a thing of the Past for you .I read about your hauling jet engins now.Seems like an intersting job.One of those that you cant get bored with.I once worked for Unitied airlines driving a food service truck out at ORD (Chicago Ohare ) Until they decided to contract out our jobs.Every day was intersting and you had to be alert your life depended on it.

Orlando, currently at a Wal Mart parking lot. I just got finished eating a decent seafood dinner. Company...me. I'm going to give it until Monday just to see if anything decent pops up and then maybe deadhead up into Georgia. I always seem to get out of Georgia ok. The only problem I have is that my dispatcher won't look for loads while I'm sleeping.

cant beat a good Fish Fry meal on a friday night.big here in wisconsin.Orlando not a bad place to be weather wise.Considering by Sunday in our area (between Chicago and Milwaukee) will be in 40s with wind gust 45 to 50 Mph. then Snow Flurries that evening.Goos luck on you loading .

I know it, it could have been way worse. It has just been this way the entire year. The truck then the house then the truck and then the truck again. It is getting to the point at the one shop they are buying me a monogrammed coffee cup!!! LOL No use crying it would only make the flooding in the basement deeper!!!! layoutshooter

I know all about those Wisconsin fish fries. I love walleye. My dad lives up near Eau Claire. Whenever I get a load to the twin cities I always go over his way after I drop out.

In the process of selling that 7 small lots of land for about 1,000 bucks...taxes on those lots are a whooping $2.36 a year! you lose...

In the 60's during the day and low 20's at night out here....they had a bit of snow in the Black Hills the other day....

Theres 7 lots total footage 175' by 140 deep...then a 50' right of way and 2 lots 100' by 140 deep...Road frontage and water pipes to connect up to..don't know about sewer...might have to go with cistern...between 2 major towns Lemmon SD and Hettinger ND on Just off U.S route 12...
