U wont see many,,lots of chatting goes on,,u wont see many folks anymore, the preceeding info was given me by a reliable source, thats all I know,,,
Still sitting at my winter home........Nov 18th til now total of 4 runs....."If it's not one thing, it's another"! As the old folks use to say.

After all the whining by a few about the "banter" that wasn't needed and their stating that that "banter" might be keeping newbies from posting..or not coming back sfter reading all thw worthless banter by a few....some people have been making an effort to post more in their carrier section and the soapbox, layover lounge and loading dock and not the main forums.....demanded change has consequences...
I missed that one. What Banter are you talking about?

Those are 2 that come to mind, and there are more....so some made the decision to let the numbers of posters in the main forum fall and stay away for the most part....
My mom taught me wasn't polite or nice to point out names and or things that people do that you don't agree with..now while i have never been accused of being nice or polite but, if you do a search on oh...the "magnificent-seven" I think you will find one of a few threads on "banter' and "chatter'....

Where in S.C. ? I used to live in Pickens at one time.
I never felt anyone was trying to take over the forums. If anyone is bad for posting in the main forum its me. The forums are there for posting. I know I mainly read the main forum.
EO is the main site I read. I may go to other sites and post but this is my favorite site. Some don't like that you can't say what you want at times or you can be banned for saying things out of line. But the rules of the site are there because of its customers that pay to put their logo on EO. I'm sure FedEx don't want to be linked to a site that everyone is swearing like a sailor. It's not good for business, now I have been an out spoken person on here over the years and had a few posts locked. Did I agree with it? Sometimes I didn't but for the most part I did after I cooled down.
EO is a great site and Lawrence Mc cord is not RICH from this site or from the Expo. Would you rather this site be a paid site or a free site like it is. It's a lot of work that people have to do. It took me almost a year to get the Expediters Hall of Fame website up and running great. Now I did it part time with no help from others.
