Having thick skin doesn't mean we should allow people to flagrantly and repeatedly disregard the Code of Conduct, disrespect other members, or openly thumb their nose at Staff members. When people do those things they get warned. If they ignore the warnings and continue to prove they can't be trusted to post in a civil and respectful manner, they lose their privileges to post here.
All anyone has to do is abide by the Code of Conduct, which everyone agreed to when signing up, and no one loses any privileges. It used to be that 4 or 5 people would be banned a month (other than spammers). Now it's 4 or 5 a year. Even Ntimevan isn't banned. His account is Suspended and is severely limited on how he can interact here. The Suspension can be lifted immediately, or it can last indefinitely. It's up to him.
