Good day:
What would you call skills? I remember when I got my CDL it was one of best things I have done to be able do my childhood dream. That was to drive a Greyhound bus to me to do that was it until I seen a truck driver so I jumped into a truck and I was happier, but what would you call skill. Knowing you can back into tight places with something as large as some homes or just driving everyday with nothing but a restroom break. I was sitting on my bed looking back over my life and I remember this man who was a brick cleaner. This man would work from before sun up and long after sun down with nothing more than a bucket and a brick mallet. ( A brick mallet is a hammer on one side and a chisel on the other. this was in the mid 60 I was young boy, to me that was coolest job. I wanted this guy to teach it to me but all he was told his was from the devil. He told me all he had was broken fingers and really bad no family. He told me the best thing for me as a young boy to study hard work harder in school and stay far as I get from what he was doing. Today when I see new building that use old bricks I also see that guy the brick cleaner. I was very bless to drive the Greyhound bus and to drive truck now I see myself as one of exoediters. Thanks From Charles Black
