Looks like a lot of union work.
There is At LeAeAste a 50/50 chance that is right. After booze was made legal again the MOB got heavily involved in "organized labor (crime)", more so than before. Ask "Jimmy" how that worked out for him.
Lest you forget, the "Bufalino" family, and the Barbarba(o), family, in our area, where heavily involved in the "unions" and the graft that formed them.
IF you did deep enough you will find Barbaro's (Barbaras) tied in with "Sonny" of "Sonny and Cher", as in first cousins with "Sonny". (As in Riverview )
Unions, organized crime, shoddy work, bad contracts, are the norm.
