Lots of museums in the area. I'd go to the medical museum because my dad was a doctor, the fire museum and the USS Alabama and others would choose other ones I'm sure.

I would also recommend the U.S.S. Alabama, plenty of parking. Be sure and wear your walking shoes, that's a big ship!
