What RPM do you need to run on??

I was just wanting to ask the EO Nation "what rate per mile do you need to run on"?

This would be a "all in" rate. For those of you who don't know the term "all in". The term is used by every carrier for what the carrier would charge with everything. FSC, Line Haul, stop off pay and so on.

Example: based on a 1000 mile load.

Line haul $2000.00

FSC $400.00

Total $2400,00 all in.

Now lets say your leased to Load1 with this load. Your rate per mile all in would be 1.74 a mile because Load1 pays 67% of the Line haul and 100% of the FSC. Now this would be a Super D unit or tractor load. Now this is an example so don't call Load1 and say "hey I seen that you pay $1.74 per mile".

I'm just trying to see what everyone's bottom line per mile is with the FSC for dry box loads and Reefer loads, that's if you have a reefer truck. There is so many factors that people use.

Depending what the total cost of operation of your truck is,then add what you want your drivers pay to be,and that would give you what you need to run on.You will need to know what it costs to operate your truck.

Dave in all fairness tell us what Rate per mile does Panther pay for dry loads and reefer loads and TVAL Loads. For a Tractor Trailer. Break it down show real examples. I here so much garbage tell the real deal. I know what I get offered I know the rates are up and down. Somtimes a dry load pays more than a TVAL LOAD. At the end of the week it usualy all averages over 2.25 a mile somtimes more some times less. Depending ur area East Coast realy good West Coast not so good.

IRT there is so many contracts at Panther which is part of the reason it's hard on dispatch at times. I can give you a break down on two different dry box trucks, two different reefer units trucks and tractor.

Dry box with no lift gate is at $1.35 per mile plus 100% of FSC.
Dry box with a lift gate is at $1.40 per mile plus 100% of the FSC.

Now we have two different rates for our reefer units because the second reefer unit I ask to change the rates to test how it does.

Reefer #1 is at $1.65 plus 100 % of the FSC and reefer FSC.
Reefer #2 is at $1.65 plus 100% of the FSC and reefer FSC only on when they haul reefer loads. This truck gets $1.40 per mile when it does any other loads. This truck does more money than Reefer #1.

Our Tractor gets $1.50 a mile plus 100% of the FSC pulling a brand new Panther Reefer trailer.

Well, do the math if your running reefer loads at 1.55 plus a .45 fsc pulling their trailer, doing 5000 plus miles a week as a team. I would be happy with that. The hard thing is finding a team for a tractor that wants to be a driver.
