What parts of the site do you visit?

Thanks for replying about which forum you visit first.. now I'd like to take it another step!

Even tho I tend to get tunnel vision that the Forums ARE the site LOL.. the reality is, only a very small portion of people who visit Expediters Online EVER visit the forums... even once. We've talked to people at the Expo, etc, and they never even knew the site HAD a forum LOL.. ah.. crush my ego But, again, from 'hits' and traffic flow, we know that a huge percentage of people read the front page, news items, classifieds, links to Expedite Now, etc.. without ever clicking on the forum link.

So, to invert the equation.. Do our forum members visit the rest of the site, or just come here? I'll confess I do tend to come directly here, as this is where my interests lie.

I would say for me 99 out of 100 visits are to the forum. I dont make it to other parts of the site even monthly.

I also read the classifieds. See who has what for Sale and see who is hiring. Two fleet owners stopped looking for drivers. Is Chris Cain still running trucks ? Tony from Yipsilanti Mi seems to have disappeared too.

My bookmark for EO comes directly to the forums all signed-in and ready to go. I rarely browse the rest of the site, and it's usually because something gets cross referenced from the forums. This is one reason I'd like to see the blogs linked directly off the forums, but I understand there is eventually a limit to how much can be functionally included on the forum homepage. I forget the blogs, go to the Load One site, link over to the Load One facebook page where someone will remind me that there is a new blog posting back at EO.

Exact same here....But, for the first visit of the day, I do start on the Front Page just to see what else is going on in the trucking industry in general. ("In The News - Top Headlines")
