So, I read today we are going to be sending millions to South American countries to help them with our illegal immigrants. Say what? So, this sets up us giving them money to keep their citizens. So, when these countries want more money, they will send us more illegals to cash in. Call me crazy, but seems like closing the border might be a better idea. Here's the same story written in agenda-driven mode rather than in fact-driven mode. When you think about it, the drug cartels using massive numbers of children to overwhelm the US Border Patrol is just brilliant.

The US is "aiding" those who traffic in human beings, by not controlling our borders. In many respects we are partly responsible for the mess down there. Mexico is useless, they COULD be stopping the flow, but they make even less an attempt at it than we do.

They keep the border patrol very busy. They almost always have people out on the Banana dike, just to try to slow things down. LOTS of drugs move across the "River" today, just as illegal booze did during prohibition.

Canadians tend to smuggle more "legal" goods, things that are heavily taxes in Canada, which they buy here and sneak back in. They also move a lot of illegal guns and cigarettes into Canada, again proving that prohibitions increase criminal activity.

Ironically, since Obama took office, illegal immigrants crossing the border are down (more of them are being caught at the border), and deportations of illegals are up.

But those are just the facts. Now back to our regularly scheduled misnomers, misinformations and misunderstandings.

Well, that is NOT an answer. This nation has an absolute RIGHT to secure borders. They are not. It IS the job of the military, under the direction of the president, to do EXACTLY that. This president, like all in the past, is NOT doing his job. Sorry if the reality that the use of violence MAY be needed to secure the borders offends you. That is, how the world is. Unless you are willing to come up with a better idea, handle this so our borders are secure, I suggest it best to allow those who's job it is to do that, be allowed to do so.

This "invasion" is being helped by our enemies, be they drug cartels, or another country, or cartels being directed by other countries. Regardless, either the government controls the border, or, the People will. There is only so much we can take.

AND

Until the borders ARE controlled, even MORE kids will be exploited for the sex trades, drug mules etc etc etc.
