RE: what do you want santa to bring you?

I'd like a new pimped-out $90,000 Freightliner FL70 from Alumi-Bunk with my all time favorite 3126 CAT and 7 speed Spicer. Then maybe, just maybe, I could call mystelf an expediter.:*
(And if I put one of those satellite TV dishes on it I would be an expediter specialist, first class!)

RE: what do you want santa to bring you?

You have GOT to be kidding me.. I guess I do TPS (third party service) loads for both FedEx and Landstar, among others. I wondered if there was no truck to cover the loads or if their own drivers didn't want to take the loads for whatever reason. It sure seems like someone is getting severely screwed, but it is not me. Maybe no TPS for Christmas?

Hey Weave, you could have my 99 FL70 under your tree, all you'd have to do is get the satallite dish installed...And as for what I'd like for Christmas, well someone to take the payment book for the FL70....Merry Christmas to you all ........Andy [email protected]

(I am not suppose to tell, but ya all know us drivers.) Everyone's wish for Christmas will be granted!!!!! All those payments and truck repairs, taken care of. Need new tires?? I got them on the list to. Need a new Spicer Tranny? Santa worked out a deal with them, they will honor all repairs!!!

Now for that new computer wish, a new Sony Viao is on the list for Lawrence.

Deserted Island wish, I am schedule to pick you up at 0000 Christmas Day, with your guest. When I drop you off, no one will find ya for a full week.

I will be checking back for more wishes and making sure your wish will be granted.:7

Hey SantaElfDriver!

I would like a gift certificate for $1000000.00 If I get this, then I can quit driving and still be able to provide for my family.
PS.
My wife said to ask for a good stock tip, to go along with the gift certificate.

But on the realistic side! I would like the new Sprinter van.:D :D :D :D :D

Well now, as you wished, the money will be in a bank account off shore, no taxes for you. Now as for that new sprinter, there will be one in your driveway the day after Christmas. I do want to take a spin around in it to!

Now for the stock tip, any thing in the medical field should be a great growth as well as communications. Stocks will be extremely touchy in the next few months into the New Year. They should start coming around late March early April.

Have a wonderful Merry Christmas and a safe New Year!

RE: what do you want santa to bring you?..

I want santa to bring Lots of non discounted freight so we all can make a decent living. I aslo want him to bring more freight to all area's so we don't have to deadhead more than 50 miles to pick up our next load.
I hope he gets this in time, sure hate to wait till next year.

RE: what do you want santa to bring you?..

Your wish has been heard and granted by Santa, his self!!! He was shocked to learn that drivers had to dead head over 50 miles to pick up a load. He said, that is horrible. I told him that was with out pay. The look on his face, I had to back up from him. He asked for his list of dispatchers, and checked them twice again! Low and behold, Santa cut the list down to less then a quarter. Now, the helper elves are looking for lumps of coal for those dispatchers who do not pay for deadhead miles.

Now for the discounted freight, Santa said he is working on that to, but that will take time to handle. It seems that companies that handle discounted freight are having a hard time understanding that the drivers are in business to. Santa said he should have something worked out with all of the Companies by the end of January. Santa then mumbled something about more lumps of coal to be order for next year. Hmmmm, I wonder what this means?

I will be available till 1700 Atlantic time that's when we make the change over and the pretrip of the sleigh and the reindeer get taken care of.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!!!!

Here is our flight path plan, www.noradsanta.org !!!!!!!!!!

RE:What's TPS???

Lemme take a whack at splain'in TPS (Third Party Services) Lets say
someone at TPS (another tenacle of FEDEX) finds a good paying load ($2.00 per mile). He/she immediately rat-holes 25% - fitty cent, then
passes that load onto dispatchers for Auto-Quick or FECC. Those folks
right away rat-hole 40% - sitty cent (roughly). Then, set about to find some poor sole whom been sett'in at the Detroiter (or some such wunnerful place) for 3-4 days, an says to em via clink "I really need
you're help on this one"!!! "It don't pay too good, and, there is a
little DH involved (150 miles)but, it'll put you in a good express center (Chicago)" You know the rest of the story.
