Guess Who

I grew up with the Bachman's (BTO) they were our neighbors in WPG. The Cummings were just down the street. My Aunt dated Burton in high school till she figured he had no future since he wanted to be a musician. lol

I grew up with Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels. I also knew, and grew up with, the "Amboy Dukes". They were regulars at our high school dances. So was "The Woolies". The lead singer for the "Woolies" was J. Maury Dean, who later, after his rock career ended. was an instructor I had at Monroe County Community College. That was about 5 months before I joined the army.

You "YOUNG DOODS" have to go back to the late '50's, or earlier, to catch the beginning of my musical awakening.

The late Jeff Jensen (Editor) was a Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels fan. We almost had them at the 2nd Annual Expedite Expo in 2002 at Jeff's request. RIP Jeff.

I grew up with
The Stones
The Who
Paul Butterfield Blues Band
ZZ Top

I used to hang with a local band. The drummer later opened two recording studios in NYC.
His sister told me he was the drummer on Billy Idol's White Wedding. Think of him, and the garage band, whenever I hear the song.

I grew up on country music. Once I was 16 and got my drivers license, 2001, it was mostly 90's music, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Korn, Pearl Jam, No Doubt, Sublime, Dave Matthews, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and unfortunately, Backstreet Boys, Nsync, Brittany Spears, then music drastically changed.

Now that I am out here driving, we listen to mostly country, 90's on 9, Lithium, and Octane.

Slipknot, black stone cherry, stone sour, seether, shinedown, bowling for soup, queens of the Stone Age, trans-Siberian orchestra, in this moment, a day to remember, iron maiden, system of a down, twisted sister, love some old 80's hair metal, and so many others besides the rock genre so I'm def 2000's but I can stretch out into the the 80's. I love me orchestral music while I'm driving and listened to espn radio all day
