What did you do before you began driving?

I was a Sr. Legal Administrative Asst. and I worked for Presidents, VPs and Corporate General Counsels.

I also Managed a Department for a company that does Real Estate Tax Examining (boring).

And, I was a Realtor!

At times, I did all of these at the same time. I like a good challenge! But, I love driving a truck for FDCC!

My husband, Co-Driver, and all around good guy used to be a Retail/Restaurant Manager.

We never saw each other - 2 ships that passed out in the night. Now, we can't get away from each other. Now there's a change!

Fleet Manager (the maintenance side of things). Gave up the desk for the steering wheel...and don't regret it one bit.

I was in college working different jobs, and then I got a job driving a university bus. When I finished school it was a choice between being stuck in front of a computer for 8 hours a day or do something else. I don't know why, but I would go insane to do the same thing every day. So, I got my class A CDL and drove a big rig for a while, then bought my van and started expediting.

My husband worked for 23 yrs. with the Public Works Dept., he changed signs, painted road markings, plowed snow, etc.. union job with lots of bennies. I was an o/o with RPS/FedEx Ground for 10 years ( I was a groundhog lol). I was a local p & d contractor with 2 routes. I sold my routes and trucks, he retired and we ran away from home. And after 7 1/2 yrs. we still enjoy it.

Wife & I, former Corrections Professionals and yes, I met my wife in prison). Left State government for the greener pastures of self-employment.

Wife was professional embroiderer (we could share stories, bluzman) and me a mortgage broker and landlord. All businesses imploded....last year.

We're 3 1/2 months into this adventure and love it!
