Were's the freight?

I had a total of 6 load offers this past week - the one I accepted going from Romulus Mich to Pottstown Pa was cancelled 2 minutes after I accepted it.

Aside from that one, Troy Mich to Lapeer Mich, 69 miles - $110.00 - 62 miles dead head was the best offer all week.

The worst was Sharonville, Ohio to Cincinatti, Ohio 9 miles - $50.00 - 230 miles dead head

I usually was getting runs from Mi or Oh to Sc then dead head to Tn or Al back to Mi, or Oh about 1300 to 1500 miles a week, not counting dead head, I think thats decent - do you?

For a change, instead of you whin'in about "whin'in", how about if you suprise everyone and simply answer my question - was it slower than normal for you this past week?

RE: Where's the freight?

Really dumb question; What company do you work for?

I would have turned this one down -

I look at it this way, it was a 239 mile run for $50

RE: Where's the freight?

Yes, it was a little slow. We only ran IN to MA and MA to TN and loaded for TX with one truck and PA to NJ and NJ to MA and MA with a 2 stopper to KY and MO with the other. Still a little early to be whin'in about slow.

Yes it is a little slow for us and the big boys I have talked to say they are a little slow to.
