I finally have a clean bill of health so we are ready to roll again! For those of you who didn't know; my appendix actually ruptured while me and the hubby were in the truck...I think somewhere in TX? Stupid me I can't be normal, so when it became inflammed it ruptured among my small intestine so I "felt" like I had a moderate bladder infection. To make a long story short I didn't go to the doctor until we went home...2 weeks later. Big mistake, by the time I got to the hospital I was in pretty bad shape...fever, night sweets, and couldn't stand for too long. I won't mention that I drove all night long the day before! LOL! I had emergency surgery and got a nice 50,000 dollar seven night stay at the fantastic St. Anthony Hospital in Crown Point Indiana. My doc. said that he wouldn't of believed it if he hadn't seen it...not too many people walk around with a ruptured appendix for a few weeks! He said that if I had waited 48 hours longer it would of been life threatening...scary. They had to remove the appendix (of course), and a bunch of small and large intestine that was damaged; plus I now have a beautiful 12 inch scar. Finally, after 6 months of recovery I am able to work again! We found a new truck owner and are excited to chase the dream once more! For all of the supportive emails last September...I thank you! Be Safe...and healthy LOL!!

Welcome back, Ms Lisa.

We trust you'll find business as usual after you get your first load. Next time you need your appendix removed, I bet you won't wait so long :)

Congratulations on the positive outcome. Hopefully anyone reading this will realize how extremely serious that could have been and decide waiting for medical care isn't a good idea. Good luck when you get back out.

WOW!!!!

A burst appendix is supposed to be tremendously painful, you must be one amazing person to have gone two weeks with it!

Good to see you are healthy again!
