Parked at the north mall in laredo walked across the street to the fairfield inn asked if they would call a cab to take me to the border they said no need sir our shuttle driver will take you there. So I tipped the driver 5 bucks he said when I come back across call himand he will pick me up and he gave me his card. Ibought what seems to be A nice looking paior of snakeskin boots for $46.00 we will see how well they hold up.

Couple years ago, Highway Star & I found ourselves in Laredo at the same time & decided to cab to the border, then walk over. We had a few drinks in the cantinas, and the most exciting thing that happened was when Star noticed me eyeballing the fountain in the square [it was about 125 degrees that night] and he whispered in my ear the magic words: "Mexican jail" and I changed my mind about jumping in.
My advice would be to go with someone who keeps their wits about them, even while chugging tequila.
