FYI Family Day is Ontario Alberta and Saskatchewan only but that's probably the vast majority of Canadian freight.

I was expecting this thread to be about the solar flare activity occurring towards the end of this week, which may interfere with satellites and GPS units - esp as mine just had to recalculate every 20 seconds for awhile, till I pulled over to make sure I was going the right way.
It's only for a few days, though.

The solar what with the gps what?

If you are so dependent on the gps unit that you can't wait a few minutes for it to get a signal, then what can I not say?

Solar flares, which interfere with satellite operations, which screws up GPS signals.

It wasn't a matter of waiting for a signal, it was that it kept getting different signals, forcing it to recalculate every 20 seconds. I was zigzagging across little roads through Alabama, had to check the atlas and write them down - when I try to go on memory, I'm even worse than a messed up GPS.
The solar flares are supposed to last for a few more days, I think.

Yeah, those solar flares were playing havoc with my Satelite radio past couple of days. Kinda like listening to a scratched cd. LOL I've got a Magellan and it hasn't messed with that a whole lot.
