The "Blitz" is on!! I was in the shop at the TA in Houston, 4 drivers were looking for first aid kits. Seems that the DOT is looking for all the LITTLE stuff to hammer people on.
Wow... Well, when you come up on a roll over accident with occupants that are on deaths doorstep, having gauze and white tape could make all the difference.
There's a FMCSA regulation which requires a first aid kit in the truck? Really? Seriously?
Link please.

That's what I've been saying: their job is to justify their jobs by finding 'violations'.
Can't keep Band-Aids around here; to many skinned knees on the grand kids.
the law ONLY requires a kit...not training....
Another stupid law.
What good does having a kit do, if you don't have the training to use it?

I'll save you some time. Quit looking. It ain't in there. We have one because we wanted one.
I'm still looking for the law. Can't find it in my little green book or online search at FMCSA.
