In the Yuppiest part of town on the I 485 beltway there is one of those Home Depot, Staples ETC.... shopping center. On the internet these young people 17-33 years of age advertised for racing on Saturday and Sunday evenings. They would gather at the shopping center and head out on to usuallly 485, slow to 35 mph for about two miles than beep the horn three times and hit speeds of over 165mph.
Thus the cops set up cameras for weeks, instead of busting them in actual racing and causing a high speed chase they gathered the info and strolled into the assembly parking lot and began arresting all who had been on the video.
Just think of something passing you or comming up on you at that speed, one stays in the left and the other on the shoulder.
