I read the celebration article on health care and something really sounded odd;
The CBO claims that passage of health care reform will save $100 billion over the next ten years at the same time cost a trillion dollars for the same time period.
If someone believes that health care reform is a good thing, then please explain to us how it costs us ten times the amount of money saved to actually save money?
On the lighter side I was listening to some online radio show (I think it was an NPR thing) and there was a comment made by a democrat 'strategist' who said that there is a serious question on the issue over state's right to regulate insurance companies which will force the courts to decide if the tenth amendment actually can be enforced on the issue but then she had a pregnent pause then said that she thinks that it will fail in the courts and because how the bill is written, the entire reform measure will have to go which means the dems can than say they tried and the taxes that are collected will go back to congress for them to use as they see fit to use it. It sounds like a great scam.
