War games or military build-up?

The Jewish nation has had enough. They can blow Iran to bits if they want. I think they shall never forget Hilter and his cronies. Nope, its time Israel stood up to the bullies because we won't or can't anymore. It is a God thing now and Israel can never be defeated even if many in here think so. We my never live to see it, but someone may. Just hang in there gang, they shall mount up as wings of Eagles.....................................

Bloomberg, the leading expert on military affairs.
Actually, they are. Military engagements and exercises are all about the money, and when it's all about the money, Bloomberg is all over it.

I love this, though:
In addition to serving as a warning to Iran, the display of power will “signal to Israel that the United States has a military option available”...

As if the US military options have been heretofore a secret or something.

I also can't wait to see the price of oil when the Strait of Hormuz gets closed down and 20% of the world's oil cannot pass through there. I'm betting that the price goes up way more than 20%.

Far more going on than this 'exercise', and is all connected. I would believe Jane's long before Bloomberg, much better.

In the very first sentence in the Bloomberg piece it states the exercise is a "a show of force as tensions escalate over a threatened Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear facilities." In the third paragraph is plainly states that the exercise is a warning to Iran.

Does Janes say that it's not a show of force or a warning, or somehow otherwise contradict anything in the Bloomberg piece?

I have not looked. I just said I would trust Jane's as a superior source for military matters/news over Bloomberg. I have not looked at Jane's for a very long time. They have long been recognized as a leader in military reporting/analyzing etc. They have a very good 'intel section'. No particular axe to grind. Just my preference IF I were working on this problem. Which, thank God, I am not.

I have a very uneasy feeling that Israel isn't crying "wolf" or bluffing about their intentions to stop Iran's nuclear program soon. The Israeli Prime Minister has made it abundantly clear his nation intends to act soon. With our help or without it.

One day soon, all heck will break out as Israel feels compelled to bomb Iranian nuclear development sites. It has the potential to make all other squabbles look small. It is a most dreadful situation.

I doubt they are crying wolf. Israel has good reason to fear an Iran with nukes. So do we. They, however, do not have a total fool for a leader.
