Vote for Change

This is in three parts: Read them all...

Part 1
In just one year. Remember the election in 2006?
Thought you might like to read the following:
A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars; < BR>6) 1% of American h omes are in foreclosure.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!

Remember it's Congress that makes law not the President.

He has to work with what's handed to him.

Part 2:

Taxes...Whether Democrat or a Republican you will find these statistics enlightening and amazing.The Tax Foundation - U.S. Federal Individual Income Tax Rates History, 1913-2008
Taxes under Clinton 1999Taxes under Bush 2008

Single making 30K - tax $8,400 Single making 30K - tax $4,500 Single making 50K - tax $14,000 Single making 50K - tax $12,500 Single making 75K - tax $23,250 Single making 75K - tax $18,750 Married making 60K - tax $16,800 Married making 60K- tax $9,000 Married making 75K - tax $21,000 Married making 75K - tax $18,750 Married making 125K - tax $38,750 Married making 125K - tax $31,250

Both democratic canidates will return to the higher tax rates
It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen. This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened.

PART 3:
You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much?
Read this:
Boy am I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it
is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us.

I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again
until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I have included the URL's for verification of all the following facts.

Are we THAT stupid?
If this doesn't bother you then just delete the message. If, on the other
hand, if it does raise the hair on the back of your neck, I hope you
forward it to every legal resident in the country including every representative in Washington, D.C. - five times a week for as long as it takes to restore some semblance of intelligence in our policies and enforcement thereof.

After rushing to the rest room in fears of messing up my tidy office with vomit after reading your hollow post,I refelcted on why I quit reading the jiberish in this site.
I know,your hero and man love idol "W" will be stepping down soon and it just galls all the blind sheep who voted for him twice and drank the cool aid so generoulsy offed by the RNC.
It's all your fault Senators and Congress persons. Blaming the Democratic Congress is like Nixon proclaiming "'I'm not a crook".You guys never get it do you?

The absolute lunacy of the leaders who "served" W have been the bottom of the barrel of a stinking posse that could not only not shoot straight,they can't think straight. One idiot bumbler after another have been disgraced and run out of town for lieing,cheating ,womanizing,molesting children and playing footsie in the mens room.Such a respectable group of Republican leaders the likes of which I've never see.

Yea old buddy,shame on those Democrats for even thinking that it all happened on the watch of a brain dead cheerleader who you all voted for. The absolute absurdity of your comments can only be written off to a desparate plea to be awoken from the nightmare
you (and your friends of "W") have made all of us live with by voting the moron into power.
I hope you sleep well with this knowledge.

WOW, what can I say, Tallcal you are right.

But are you?

Each and every administration in our lifetime has had the same exact problem, they don’t care. During our life time we have seen a political apathy rise to all new heights and just this morning I am listening to people complain they are tired of Obama and Hillary going at it, many are now thinking of voting for McCain because of the melt down in the party.

Coupled with the lunacy of the congress, both sides of the fence that is, what can you expect. People are just getting tired of the whole hate bush/vote for the first black man cr*p.

Like I said, you can put these guys all in one bag, shake the bag and dump them out – you can’t tell who is who because they look and act all the same.

The latest thing I heard is the BS of Pelosi and the stimulus package. I remember she was completely against anything like this in the past, why did she change her tune? The same goes for the ‘home mortgage crisis’, why are the dems trying so hard to prop up the stack market and let the dollar fall? They are in control of congress, right?

I think their interest lies in their personal investments, remember some of the riches people in congress are dems, nope make that most of the really rich people are dems.

This is 1976 all over again, isn’t it?

The republican party needs to shed its attitude and clean house. Let the dems melt down with their back door methods of selecting a candidate and focus on getting the party straight.

It is once again demonstrated that documented facts mean nothing to the far left liberals of this country. Everyone lied except the Clintons, etc, etc. No reasonable counter-argument to offer based on facts, just name calling, and smarmy comments with no merit. The fact that the Democrat controlled congress has a lower approval rating than Bush seems to mean nothing. "Womanizing, molesting children..." - wait a minute; who was that Democrat congressman that got a standing ovation from his peers after being caught messing around with his teenage male pages? And "womanizing" - what is the first name in politics that comes to mind when that term is used???

Good post Lawrence - 'nuff said.
