They charge a $3 convenience fee for paying in person, rather than a kiosk, at affiliate locations.

You know the problem with bad cops? They make the other 5% look bad.

That's a rule authorized retailers have not actually Verizon Wireless.
If you go to a corporate store there is no charge to pay.
I worked in customer service for almost 2 years and there were customers that called in often about the fee authorized retailers charged to pay their bill.

Verizon had to back down. There's still enough competition out there that the convenience fee threatened to be a big loss for Verizon. I'd probably stick, but there's enough people who would leave for other providers that they had to reconsider it.

The idiots probably took the idea from Bank of America. More idiots.

That's what I was saying, just used the word affiliate instead of authorized.

My daughter moves in the "higher" circles at Verizon..We talked about this "New Years Day"....even she sayes that corp is pushing for the stores to make customers do more themselves verses the company, and this charge was nuts...She said sooo many customers complained that they had to back off and that they have more continous calls complaining to customer service about "fees" than any product or service they offer...
