Veteran Expediter
Now I don’t know what to make of this. I went to my favorite Chinese restaurant and ordered my usual meal – yes I am boring always ordering the same thing.
Well I glanced down at the menu they were working on and notice something rather odd - new vegetarian meals. I thought great now I can get things I enjoyed in Ann Arbor (they have two great Asian restaurants, one Chinese and the other Thai/Vietnamese and ordered a lot of their Tofu meals) but like I said there was something odd so I flipped the menu over so I could read it better and read the first item, vegetarian spicy ginger chicken, and the second item vegetarian lemon chicken. So thought to myself that vegetarian meals are supposed to be made without meat, right? Maybe they are going to remove the words beef, pork and chicken.
When my order was ready I talked to the girl behind the counter, Sam (short for some unpronounceable Chinese name) and asked her why is she calling these meals vegetarian? Sam said that they add more vegetables to the meal but they will keep the same amount of meat, so it is a vegetarian meal.
