van challenge

ok here it is.i want to get a real idea on how it is out there one week.for one week for all vans that can and will,post your company name, miles ,deadhead miles,rate of tatal pay per mile,and any bonus money.ok i know some feel this is private info.so no hard feelings, if no one feels the challenge. thanks for any help. also if you could put it under your own thread to keep them easy to keep up with.now who is up to the challenge?

Even if everyone did this, it would yield information that is exactly useless. If I were to post all of my numbers for last week, or the week before that, everyone would be wanting to come to my carrier (Panther). If I posted all of my numbers for 4 weeks ago, people would think I'm crazy for being with my carrier, as nobody would want to be leased on there.

Your questions is, "Which carrier can I make the most money at?" And the answer is, all of them, or non of them, it all depends on you, not the carrier. Besides, you've already driven for Panther, so you should know what it's like out there for a given week. Some are bad, some are good. Getting random numbers for random weeks from random drivers won't give you any more information than you already have.

LOL,, you have already been in this business...you should have a good idea of how it works...you know that 1 week is NOT a window on what can be expected as to miles run or income per mile or even total income....

You picked a bad week. I was out of service Sunday to Tuesday. Turned down two loads Thursday to stay in range of my service appointment this week. Another thing--is the pay based on rate or percentage? Something to consider when looking at snapshots. I also don't understand how making everyone's input in different threads is going to make data collection more manageable.

I do occasionally post numbers in the Bolt Express carriers forum.

Then maybe you'll help a brother out by posting your location in that thread [though it's about 75% 'other' stuff] so we know where to avoid - just until you get back in the groove, [or lose the hex] of course....
