As expediters we get a chance to see different parts of the country that many of us would not see otherwise. It is one of the greatest draws of this business.

With that comes a potential down side, regional illnesses. When we go into strange areas we can expose ourselves to diseases that we may not have been exposed to before and may not have any immunity too. It is a problem worthy of concern.

That is not to say we should become freaked, just take precautions if needed. Paying attention to news reports etc. A little prevention could go a long way in keeping you healthy.
