Has anyone used this board. Thinking of trying it to move a truck or two when stuck in an area that is not so good with moving loads out of. Good idea or not?

gflight, until someone responds to your post enter u-ship into the E.O. search function. There are 19 threads dealing with u-ship going back 5 or 6 years.

A load is a load no matter where you find it as long as it's paying you what you want.

With that said, uship sucks for back hauls. You have NO way to contact the shipper until the shipper gets around to accepting your bid or posts a reply to your question.

When I use to try to use it for back hauls I found it a waste of time. I'd DH out days after asking questions and finely get a reply.

Uship does not work like other load boards. They prevent contact between shipper and buyer because they charge their fee through their system.

Consider everything - also consider this...I spoke with an EO'er who had used uShip a few times. The third time he used it he meet a manufacturer and started delievering their parts with multiple stops. That worked out into a monthly $15,000 dedicated contract. You never know where that next load will take you.
