Used Vans

I understand that a large percentage of small business people do not make the grade. I also understand that there is a glut of vans out there and a lot don't make it in this business. My question is , where are all the used vans that should be out there. I haven't been able to find many. Or do the owners just keep them and use them for other needs?

There are vans for sale all over the place, if you are looking for something specific it might take a little longer though. The other thing to remember is when a person fails the vans could be getting repoed so you see a lot on dealer lots as well.

Mostly in the Midwest.

De Land between De Leon Springs and DeBarry isn't exactly the hotbed of failed expedite cargo de vans.

Sometimes I crack myself up.

You want a CV that is ready to roll (well ft rotors machined) that is equipped for expediting and comfort? PM me...I will be putting another driver in it or sell it, makes no difference to me....

I own an expediting company now and still take loads for the time being. When my operation gets bigger and I no longer have to take runs, i'm still going to keep my van as a personal vehicles as it will probably be some time before I can lease me a BMW! ha ha. On another note, there are a lot of good used vans out there but not as many as there were back in 09. In 09 I was able to buy this van from a plumbing business that had went out of business and sold the van to me for what was owed to the bank. I bought a 2004 GMC Savana van for 5500 bucks. The thing only had 119k miles on it. You should be able to find something similar at an auction or something to that effect. You will have to just look at craigslist and ebay for a few weeks until you see something that fits your parameters. It took me about 3 months of searching to find the van I drive now! Good luck.

Send her on over chef. What kind of proce range are you talking about? I wish I knew you were gonna giver her up before i dropped 4k on this current van. I still have to have the carrier bearing and the pinion bearing replaced tomorrow. All I need is another 1600 bucks of replacements and the van will be practically rebuilt. Hey, does the van also come with a load one contract? That would be a great selling point. Worth some mark-up dollars too!
