The man already had a full schedule for a long day at the UN. The request of a last minute face-to-face by the British Prime Minister for the express purpose of political capital back home wasn't worth interrupting the President to even discuss it. "Snubbed" is reaching. All you have to do is take note of those who he was scheduled to meet with, and met with, while at the UN to know that it's not a case of being snubbed, it's a case of the Brits wanting special treatment. Hate the man for what he does, not just for the sake of hating him, and certainly not because of the opinion of a few goobers in England.

I think it's fair to assume that what you contend may happen on a day to day basis domestically but when the members of the UN are involved, I highly doubt that he'd have zero input into his own schedule of meetings.
