I would to introduce our two new EO moderators.
I would like to thank DaveKC and Glen for stepping up to the plate and volunteering their time to help moderate the forums. They both bring an enormous amount of business knowledge and expediting experience to the forum.
I have asked them both to share a little bit about themselves - please give them a big EO welcome!
Glen Rice
Moderator of Truck Talk Forum
Well here goes, I started driving 31 years ago for my fathers transportation company, Bolin Drive-A-Way out of Cleveland Ohio. After drifting out of other jobs, including trying my hand as a mechanic, I always returned to driving. In 1984 I took the plunge and became an owner/operator buying a 1979 Kenworth Aerodyne cab over, boy I was a big rigger! I was drag racing since 1978 and owning my own truck was a natural since I had converted a moving and storage trailer into a Car Transporter for my racing team. We had become very successful winning several season championships.

By 1986 I decided it was time to get serious about trucking and sold my racing operation and bought my first new truck, a 1985 KW Aerodyne which we immediately stretched to 311 inch wheelbase and placed a then outrageous 120 inch custom sleeper behind the 112 inch cab. It was pretty cool! At this time I had a contract to transport a Manufacturer Trailer to all the NHRA National meets for two seasons. Building custom trucks was something I was really drawn to, with the help of Bentz Transport we built several custom trucks including the first 144 inch sleeper in 1987 and of course my last effort the 186 inch monster that was destroyed in the horrific accident on 12/10/03. Designing and building Custom Trucks is what I really enjoy. I've made numerous mistakes and feel my experience with different manufactures techniques will be valuable to others looking for that special piece of equipment.
DaveKC
Moderator of General Forum
I would like to give a big welcome to DaveKC as one of our newest Moderators!
DaveKC is no stranger to the Open Forum nor to the expedite industry. Being a Moderator will be a natural for him as he has been helping folks here on the forum for the last 3 years! Dave is based out of Florida and teams in a D unit with his wife Grace. They have been leased to other carriers - but recently hung their hat at Panther II and have enjoyed success there.
