"Spin" neither are truthfull.......lol but what do you expect, they can't tell the people the truth.....:rolleyes:

LOL, and in early reporting in the next qter, they will "revise' the numbers and it won't be as "pretty" from either of their points of view..the numbers will be revised downward so the whole economy will still suck, it just won't suck as bad as it could have.....:rolleyes:

Its like us being late on a delivery...you might have been 15 minutes late, but hey, you could have been an hour late...so whats the problem......:rolleyes:

Right now I am listening to some lecture from some brit trying to describe the US economy. He is telling his audience that we are not a single economy but one of 315 million different economies in one country.

You think that's right?

I do and that's why I can't beleive that the recession can be over until some time in 2011 if we are all lucky.

315 different economies??? LOL, i have no idea how many there are but i do agree that our economy is made up of more then a few midco-economies yes....thats why some people look at the stock market as a sign of recovery while others look at the jobless numbers....and yes, until the the jobless numbers are reversed and i mean in large numbers, we will not see an end to this recession... people don't spend money they don't have and those that have it are saving more of it then in anytime in the near past...they don't trust what the government is telling them and they see the dollar tanking and they see the foreign central bankster and counties slowly diversing themselves of US dollars...Americans don't trust the American government....especially this current administration abd their spending their kids and grand kids into debt....

The concept is this;

We are a country of individuals, not of a collective group - like England or France.

We each have our own needs, wants and desires and it is those things that drive ourselves to achieve them.

Unlike someone on France, they include the needs, wants and desired of the state with their needs, we keep those separate.

With those things in mind, our economy is not one big economy that encompasses everyone but made up of 315 million individual economies where some prosper and some fail.

This is where the two headlines can be applied, some see an end to the recession while others can't.
