I read all about the big to do about nothing where Billy Ray apologized for his indiscretion on not having Hanna Montana buckled up while filming her on the way to a rehearsal (was he driving while he was filming her?). I don't think he should have apologized but made a point to make sure that it never happens again by grounding her from any more Hanna performances.
At first the complaints originate from the People rag's blog but others have been vocal on his decision not to demand the brat wears her seat belt.
But the bigger issue is that this is a non-issue, and the complaints seem to based on the fact that a lot of parents seem to think that leading by example is important to show the little Hanna want to bes how to act.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the importance of seat belts but really let's be real here, in the bigger picture of things this is a non-starter of an issue and there seems to be a big discrepancy in how parents act and their lack of concern over other stars that 'little girls' look up to when a lot worst happens.
I am glad that we are not reading about Hanna moving in with her boyfriend at 15 and getting knocked up at 16 and the father is 18 years old - by the way that show is back on the air and I am wondering where is everyone fighting to get that show off and keep it off the air.
