Trucking radio great passes away!

Dale "truckin' bozo" sommers passed away this am about 0730! He was in radio nearly 50 years! Trucking radio for about 25 years! He helped alot of people stay awake on the overnights! I was fortunate enough to know the man behind the mic! He did alot of good for the industry over the years! Anyone wanting to send something in lieu of flowers the family asks to simply call ooida and buy a membership for someone who is not a member, and help the organization grow!
Called ooida myself today, and they were absolutely swamped with calls! Info also can be found on thebozo.com!
Well dale, you are behind the big mic in the sky! R.i.p my freind!

Im saddened to hear it, The Truckin Bozo not only kept me awake but he kept me in stitches with his takes on life and the people in our industry, My Condolences to his family and the Radio family he has taught, and pioneered .....He WAS an Institution to our industry....and will be sorely missed...
RIP BOZO may the road be straight, and the wind be always at your back....GOD BLESS
