Does anyone have a worldNav 3300 truck routing GPS. I seen an ad in the Land Line magazine for it. It sells for $400.00

We bought the Worldnav GPS with truck routing software. It was very user UNfriendly. We had a Tomtom and it started malfuntioning. We decided to give the worldnav a shot. big mistake. It is very hard to use and does not offer many of the on screen options we had become used to with the Tomtom. The truck routing software does not work properly. We were 10 miles from our destination on a state hwy. and it kept trying to route us off the state hwy. even though our destination was on this state hwy. We talked to worldnav and they told us 1) we don't know why it did this and 2) you can turn off the truck routing technology and only use it when you think you might need it. After many phone calls we returned it and got a full refund. This part went well.
We got a new Tomtom back in the mail and this one works very well. If you are going to go with electronics to get from A to B we combine the Tomtom with Street and Trips with GPS locator. 90% of the time we use the Tomtom alone. I won't drive without the Tomtom. It has many on screen features I won't drive without. It has a compass, miles to destination, how much time to destination, current time, ETA and miles per hour, all on the screen at the same time. No one else offers this feature. My wife hates electronics but she loves her Tomtom and all the options it gives her for routing.
To recap, World nav BAD!! Tomtom and/or Street and Trips with GPS Locator Good.

P.S. We have Tomtom One XL.

I ordered the Workdnav trucking GPS with the 7 in. screen and would like to post my review:

Pros:
1) Arrived on time
2) Impressive packaging
3) Well lit, easy to view screen
4) Clear audible front speaker

Cons:
1) Didn't work!!

They sent me a replacement, the upgraded 7200. It didn't work either. Then they stated that they were working on these software problems and could send me the upgraded software when completed.
I decided not to take advantage of that offer and have returned both units. I have now vowed not to order any new technology over the internet. Leason learned!

Conclusion: Don't gamble on this one.

I came across a GPS review source that readers may find useful. TomTom is reviewed as are other devices. The reviews are fully illustrated and thorough. See: GPS Magazine reviews.
