Truck seats

The company I work for has one truck with a bench seat. We are looking to replace it with some sort of pump up or electric air ride. Any idea where I may be able to locate one in the Grand Rapids area or the Michigan area? Thanks.

>Are you looking for new or used? doesn't matter. I think my boss would prefer used but if we can find new at a reasonable price I am sure he would buy it.

Any decent shop or dealer should be able to do the switch. In the past I used my local Freightliner dealer to take out spring seats in 2 Mercedes Benz trucks that I owned. Make sure the seat belts would fit and work. Also the truck should have air brakes so that you have a source of pressure.I don!t remember what the cost was but it wasn!t too bad.If it!s just you you can get the drivers seat to be air ride and have a spring seat for the occasional passenger.

Teacel,

Many thanks! Our truck is in dire need for seat replacement. They just did not seem to take wear very well. They are cracking terrible.
We have 2001 Freightliner 106. Anyone else having this problem?

BTW, I have noticed that many business class freightliners like ours had cracking and peeling on their dashboards and front console. Many people have commented on our truck having a black dash and console. All we did is remove the gray paint. We were tired of the gray paint peeling etc. It was easy as it actually flakes off. We used wet wipes and a little elbow grease. The result is black dash and console.
